  1. Open the document on Google Docs. 
  2. Click Insert -> Image -> Upload from computer from the toolbar.

4. Click Image Options -> Adjustments. 

5. On the right pane that opens, adjust the Transparency.

That’s it. You’re done with positioning your watermark on the document. The best part is that it doesn’t pose a glitch in this process. You can upload the image from any source and align it almost instantly.
